Responsibilities
- Led Cloud Security M&A activities, created runbooks and integrated core security controls on AWS accounts.
- Supported the consolidation of two AWS Organizations (60+ accounts) from a security perspective.
- Provided time-based IAM access for migration activities across both AWS Organizations.
- Ensured CloudTrail security auditing remained in place during migration.
- Orchestrated a variety of changes to enable teams to use AWS SSM Session Manager for remote access securely.
- Created and deployed SSM shell profile preferences to ensure logging requirements were met.
- Developed service control policies (SCPs) to deny updating or deleting the SSM preferences.
- Created an automated time-based incident response IAM role using CloudFormation StackSets and Lambda.
- Defined and implemented Cloud Security standards on an AWS platform of over 300+ accounts.
